The Ascot Neimen Studs have
chosen to retain Ascot O.R. for stud duties because
they believe the bull has a lot to add to their
breeding programmes.
His calves are very like himself
showing extra content. They are born small, showing
plenty of vigour and are extremely quiet. These
bloodlines are certainly new to the export market
and have great possibilities for breeders wishing
to maintain content in their herds.
Ascot O.R. was
shown as a Junior Bull in 2000 and a Senior Bull
in 2001. He ran second to Ascot Zorba both years
but created a lot of interest amongst cattlemen
for his noticeable attributes. These being his
length, fleshing, bone and overall scale. He has
a tidy sheath, good temperament and a smooth desirable
skin type and is a bull showing higher content.
